Established in 1970, Cliff Wright Motors has successfully operated in Armidale for nearly half a Century. On founding the business, Cliff Wright quickly identified his own market niche, and built a one stop automotive shop for the local and surrounding areas. In the 70s, it was the norm for customers to have to take their vehicle to multiple different garages to get work completed, depending on the fault in hand. Envisioning something different for Cliff Wright Motors, Cliff quickly identified that consumers would benefit significantly from an automotive garage able to fix, develop and sell used cars from one location, which in turn made him very popular with the local community. An innovative idea is, of course, nothing without the skill and service go with it, as such Cliff worked hard and quickly established a reputation for being a reliable local business owner, and fundamental part of the Armidale community.
